Commercial HVAC Service Technician

📋 Description

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems, incl. rooftop units, split systems, boilers, chillers, and heat pumps.
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections to ensure optimal system performance.
• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues in HVAC equipment.
• Replace or repair defective components (motors, compressors, fans, thermostats).
• Interpret wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Communicate service findings and recommendations with clients and team.

🎯 Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; HVAC cert/training preferred.
• 4+ years of HVAC service tech experience.
• Experience servicing/installing VRF systems.
• Strong understanding of HVAC systems, electrical circuits, and mechanical components.
• EPA 608 certification (required).
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
