Commercial Operations Associate

📋 Description

• Analyze project budgets, forecasts, and expenditures; recommend actions to address variances.
• Evaluate vendor proposals and recommend suppliers based on cost, terms, delivery, and risk.
• Negotiate commercial terms within delegated authority and coordinate required approvals.
• Review contracts and change orders; recommend responses to commercial risks and vendor issues.
• Investigate and resolve nonroutine procurement, invoice, and payment discrepancies.
• Apply commercial policies and financial controls, escalating matters outside delegated authority.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, construction management, operations, or a related field, or
• Two or more years of relevant experience in commercial operations, procurement, financial analysis
• Experience independently evaluating commercial issues and making business recommendations.
• Ability to analyze budgets, evaluate vendor proposals, and review commercial terms.
• Sound judgment in applying policies, resolving nonroutine issues, and recognizing approval
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience with project or financial systems such as Oracle
