Communications Manager, India

📋 Description

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on consumer, corporate and policy comms.
• Execute integrated campaigns to strengthen Airbnb's brand and priorities.
• Manage media inquiries and relationships with reporters in India.
• Draft pitches, press releases, Q&As, briefs, and speeches.
• Coordinate media events, briefings, and influencer engagements.
• Develop storytelling that supports business goals and partnerships.

🎯 Requirements

• 6-10+ years of consumer and corporate comms experience (agency or in-house).
• Excellent writing and verbal communication with strong interpersonal skills.
• Experience in media relations with an established network.
• Ability to initiate and manage proactive press projects (data-led stories, campaigns, events).
• Experience with complex regulatory issues in a political environment.
• Thrives in a fast-paced environment with strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Able to travel, sometimes on short notice; passionate about Airbnb’s mission.
• Bachelor’s Degree.
