Community Inclusion Support Specialist (DSP) - Community Living Support Program

📋 Description

• Provide 1:1 support in individuals' homes
• Help individuals stay active and engaged by providing transportation to community events, hobbies
• Assist with household duties including cleaning, laundry, meal prep, budgeting and establishing
• Enrich and support the lives of the persons served while maintaining a safe and healthy environment
• Provide companionship and personalized care while encouraging independence and self-care
• Assist with activities of daily living, including community-based supports

🎯 Requirements

• Valid Driver's License and access to a reliable vehicle (required for Community Living Support
• Prefer personal or professional experience working with persons with intellectual or developmental
• Ability to work independently and be resourceful to problem solve without direct supervision
• True passion to help others
• Dependable, adaptable, flexible
• Effective communication skills (reading, writing, communication) to document care, follow support
