📋 Description

• Co-host developer meetups with ecosystem partners and speakers.
• Sponsor hackathons that attract ML/AI Infra engineers.
• Own and grow the webinar program; identify topics and speakers.
• Run creative events that break the standard (screenings, art shows).
• Help community members run Modal events; build playbooks and support.
• Turn events into content and campaigns with Marketing.
• Own events end-to-end: venues, speakers, logistics, and follow-up.
• Track attendance and downstream signups; optimize what's working.

🎯 Requirements

• Track record running events or building community; point to specific successes.
• Well-connected to SF AI/dev scene; form partnerships and spot trends.
• Strong written and verbal communication; represent Modal to developers.
• Good judgment on which events or sponsorships are worth pursuing.
• Organized and self-directed; manage many events and partnerships.
• Comfortable working in SF in a fast-paced startup.
