  • Direct visitors, staff, and clients; connect to GLIDE resources.
  • Open/secure GLIDE facilities; monitor entry/exit.
  • Support GLIDE programs (Free Meals, Walk-In Center, Harm Reduction, etc.).
  • De-escalate disruptive individuals using crisis prevention techniques.
  • Intervene in crisis; follow procedures; call 911.
  • Conduct hourly safety rounds; identify hazards; report to management.

๐ŸŽฏ Requirements

  • CPR and First Aid Training within 3 months of hire.
  • Crisis Prevention Certification within 3 months of hire.
  • High school diploma or GED; security, customer service, and mental health experience.
  • Experience in community-based social service serving homelessness/poverty.
  • Interpersonal skills to communicate with diverse populations; manage stress/crisis.
  • MS Office Suite proficiency; data entry into databases.
