Compliance Lead, Canada

📋 Description

• Subject matter expert on consumer protection and payment regulations
• Support risk controls for safeguarding, operational risk, and RPAA governance
• Provide regulatory advice to Product, Legal, Risk, and Operations on initiatives
• Interpret regulatory developments into actionable guidance
• Support regulatory examinations, inquiries, and supervisory engagement
• Oversee Canadian regulatory reporting and timely submissions

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of compliance/regulatory/legal experience in Canadian financial services
• Bachelor’s degree required; CAMS/CFCS or similar asset
• Strong knowledge of Canadian consumer protection and RPAA
• Ability to apply regulatory interpretation pragmatically in a commercial setting
• Experience with regulatory reporting, risk assessments, and control testing
• Strong analytical and documentation skills
