Compliance Strategist

📋 Description

• Run a practical, risk-based compliance monitoring programme across Ramp's European entities.
• Test key controls and identify gaps, with a focus on whether they work in practice.
• Support assurance over financial-crime, payments, safeguarding, and outsourced-service controls.
• Track regulatory, Board, partner, audit, and internal commitments to ensure actions are completed
• Manage findings and remediation, helping accountable teams resolve issues and confirming actions
• Produce clear reporting for management and Boards on key risks, control issues, incidents, and

🎯 Requirements

• Min. 4 year of experience in compliance, risk, audit, controls, or regulatory change within
• Experience supporting compliance monitoring, control testing, issue management, remediation, or
• Working knowledge of UK and/or EU financial-services regulation, with the ability to apply
• Familiarity with financial-crime controls such as customer due diligence, sanctions screening
• An interest in areas such as payments, safeguarding, outsourcing, operational resilience, or
• Strong judgement and communication skills, with the confidence to identify issues, explain risk
