Component Engineer

📋 Description

• Monitor and track EE BOMs to drive part consolidation
• Navigate component specs to propose alternates for engineering and commercial teams
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, Supply Chain and Design on PLM data
• Primary contact for engineers and suppliers on PCNs and component qualification
• Support NPI and production programs leveraging automation
• Assist in manufacturing and field failure analysis at component level

🎯 Requirements

• A BS in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with 5+ years of component/manufacturing engineering
• Deep knowledge of semiconductor market and BOM qualification
• Proficient in reading datasheets, errata, specs, and change notices
• Hands-on PLM experience and automation in workflows
• Understanding of electronic design, manufacturing workflows, core engineering principles
• Strong written and verbal communication bridging tech and business goals
