Components Manufacturing Engineer

📋 Description

• Own end-to-end manufacturing for precision components (machined, welded, formed).
• Drive design-for-manufacture (DFM) with design and development engineers.
• Define process parameters for laser welding, machining, assembly.
• Lead first-article builds and implement permanent corrective actions.
• Plan, schedule, and manage the sheet metal shop to ensure on-time delivery.
• Design and procure tooling, fixtures, and test equipment to improve yield.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science.
• 3+ years in precision component manufacturing (aerospace/defense preferred).
• CNC machining and welding (TIG/laser/e-beam) or additive manufacturing.
• Develop, validate, and scale manufacturing processes.
• GD&T, tolerance stack-ups, and material behavior understanding.
• Lab/production experience in process development and fixture design.
