📋 Description

• Create Nuke scripts integrated into the comp pipeline.
• Collaborate with Lead to maintain and improve production workflows.
• Reduce time for repetitive or complex tasks.
• Iterate work as required by Lead, Head of Dept, or 2D Supervisor.
• Take on delegated tasks; adapt to evolving briefs.
• Enable teammates to pickup your work when needed.
• Follow RSP color pipeline and color workflow.
• Adapt comp setups with evolving briefs and Nuke script issues.
• Review and QC work for delivery; ensure it addresses creative and technical requirements.
• Maintain visual continuity across shots and sequences.
• Coordinate with Lighting to meet compositing objectives.
• Build relationships with 2D and 3D artists and techs.
• Contribute to creative and technical discussions to raise image quality.
• Manage workload; inform stakeholders of delivery obstacles.
• Promote collaboration and a positive, productive workplace.

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years creating high-end composites for live-action features.
• Expert knowledge of Nuke and math behind comp operations.
• Strong Nuke scripting and tool development.
• Detail-oriented with color theory, LUTs, composition and capture formats.
• Excellent organizational skills; delivery-focused.
• Knowledge of Maya, Houdini, and tracking software.
• Understanding of physics, math, proportion, depth, light and color.
• Technical and creative problem solving with a can-do mindset.
• Working knowledge of the VFX pipeline and post-production handoffs.
