Compute Technical Solutions Architect

📋 Description

• Lead compute discovery, architecture design, sizing, and performance mapping for workloads.
• Translate requirements into bare metal, GPU/accelerated compute, and storage.
• Deliver demos, workshops, whiteboarding sessions, and PoCs.
• Validate feasibility and alignment with compute deployment model.
• Build architecture documentation to accelerate customer decisions.
• Act as the technical compute expert embedded in Megaport Sales Pods.

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years in a technical customer-facing role (Solutions Architect, Sales Engineer, etc.).
• Hands-on bare metal compute, GPU compute, server architecture, virtualization.
• Understanding compute buying cycles and sizing for performance workloads.
• Knowledge of hybrid architectures, virtualization stacks, containerization, provisioning workflows.
• Familiarity with networking fundamentals to situate compute solutions.
• Experience collaborating with network architects on connectivity impacts.
