Configuration Management Specialist

📋 Description

• Establish and maintain baselines for hardware and software configurations.
• Implement change control processes, including ECPs and change boards.
• Conduct configuration audits to ensure compliance with baselines and standards.
• Maintain accurate status accounting and reviews such as PDR, CDR, SRR, and TRR.
• Utilize Product Life Cycle Management tools like Oracle Agile to manage configuration items.
• Work with Requirements Management Tools like IBM DOORS for traceability.

🎯 Requirements

• Two years of experience in data or hardware and/or software configuration management.
• Working knowledge of baselines, change control (ECPs, change boards), audits, and reviews (PDR, CDR, SRR, TRR).
• Familiarity with Oracle Agile and IBM DOORS.
• Experience with hardware configuration management, including BOM creation and revision.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and understand configuration requirements.
• Knowledge of industry best practices, Military standards, and CMMI related to data/configuration management.
