📋 Description

• Prepare detailed estimates for U.S. government, federal, commercial projects.
• Review drawings, specs, and bid documents to identify requirements.
• Perform quantity takeoffs with standard estimating software and AI workflows.
• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude) to accelerate estimating and analysis.
• Build cost estimates covering labor, materials, equipment, subs, overhead.
• Generate material takeoffs and identify pricing gaps.

🎯 Requirements

• 3–8+ years of construction estimating experience.
• Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred.
• Proven experience estimating U.S. construction projects.
• Experience estimating commercial, public-sector, or government projects.
• Proficiency with estimating software such as PlanSwift, Bluebeam, OST.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
