Construction Manager

📋 Description

• Manage all phases of construction delivery, including preconstruction, mobilization, execution
• Review project scopes, drawings, specifications, cost estimates, schedules, work plans, submittals
• Monitor contractor performance, staffing, productivity, construction progress, workmanship, safety
• Conduct or coordinate site observations, documenting site conditions, work progress, deficiencies
• Review payment applications, quantity records, stored materials, retainage, change orders, and
• Maintain accurate project records and tracking logs for costs, schedules, risks, issues

🎯 Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, architecture, or a related discipline
• At least 7 years of progressive experience in construction management, construction inspection
• Ability to interpret construction plans and specifications and effectively manage project costs
• Experience with public infrastructure, housing rehabilitation or reconstruction, federally funded
• Familiarity with government consulting engagements or other regulated, deadline-driven project
• Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage
