Construction Manager, Fiber - Memphis

📋 Description

• Act as the senior construction representative for the Memphis data center fiber scope, managing
• Oversee fiber execution from pre-construction and site development through testing, certification
• Coordinate multiple vendors so field and technical teams stay aligned on fiber backbone, horizontal
• Identify and mitigate risks to quality, safety, system integrity, and operational readiness
• Drive progress on the fiber scope and resolve roadblocks so the schedule holds
• Align the fiber schedule with SpaceXSI's infrastructure goals through cross-functional collaboration

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of experience managing data center or construction projects
• Experience managing large-scale data center or mission-critical construction projects
• Certification in fiber optics and/or cable installation (FOA, BICSI, or equivalent)
• Advanced expertise in fiber splicing, OTDR testing, and certification procedures
• Deep technical knowledge of hyperscale data center networking, structured cabling, and fiber
• Experience in AI/HPC data centers or other mission-critical facilities
