📋 Description

• Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts
• Primary day-to-day contact for clients (funds and asset managers)
• Maintain client playbooks for consistent negotiations
• Mentor junior lawyers and paralegals
• Collaborate to improve Carta's legal tech using AI tools
• Deliver high-quality contract work in a fast-paced environment

🎯 Requirements

• Commercially minded and client-focused
• 6-8+ years post-law school corporate/transactional exp
• Independent negotiator of pre-M&A contracts (NDAs/NRLs/joinders)
• Experience with asset managers or financial services clients
• Licensed to practice law in the Americas (US/Canada)
• Tech-savvy with legal tech/AI tools (Ava, HighQ)
