Contracts Counsel

📋 Description

• Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements (NDAs, SaaS, licenses, data processing).
• Provide business-focused advice to management with cross-functional coordination.
• Advise on contracting and compliance with healthcare and life sciences laws.
• Address data privacy and security issues in the US and internationally.
• Shape contract templates and playbooks; drive process improvements.
• Lead, train, and develop staff; set objectives and feedback; ensure QMS adherence.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and J.D. required; 3+ years of legal experience.
• Life sciences industry experience strongly preferred.
• Bar membership (California preferred) or eligibility for in-house status.
• Medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or other regulated industry experience.
• Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; attention to detail.
