📋 Description

• Run customer billing and resolve related issues
• Manage accounts receivable and collections
• Oversee vendor invoices and payments
• Handle tax filings and compliance, including sales and use tax
• Keep accounts reconciled and own the month-end close
• Lead and coach the two-person accounting team

🎯 Requirements

• Hands-on ownership of AP, AR, billing, vendor payments, reconciliations, and month-end close
• Experience training, leading, or reviewing work of others on a finance team
• Sales and use tax filings and registrations across states
• Fluency with modern finance tooling (QuickBooks or NetSuite, Bill.com or Ramp, Stripe-style billing)
• Daily use of AI tools in the work
• Bonus: Subscription billing, CPA or progress toward one, or experience in cannabis or another
