Controller

📋 Description

• Manage day-to-day accounting ops: GL, month-end close, AP/AR, payroll, fixed assets.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements per US GAAP.
• Maintain and improve scalable accounting processes, internal controls, and policies.
• Partner with Finance, Operations, Engineering, and Program Management to improve financial visibility across programs.
• Assist budgeting, forecasting, cash management, audits, tax filings, and investor reporting.
• Support the implementation and ongoing improvement of accounting systems, reporting tools, and process automation.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 3–6 years in accounting; prefer public accounting in tech/aerospace.
• Strong understanding of US GAAP, financial reporting, and month-end close.
• Experience developing internal controls and improving accounting processes.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems (NetSuite preferred) and advanced Excel.
• Familiarity with government contracting, FAR/DFARS, or aerospace accounting.
