Controller / Director of Accounting & Finance

📋 Description

• Oversee accounting and financial reporting for properties and entities.
• Manage across 40+ entities and ~100 properties.
• Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and KPI reporting.
• Build dashboards and executive summaries for leadership.
• Lead AI-assisted automation and tech-enabled processes.

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of accounting experience.
• Experience managing accounting ops for a complex business.
• Proven ability to lead an entire accounting/finance department.
• Strong knowledge of financial statements, GL, reconciliations, budgeting.
• Experience managing multiple entities and properties.
• CPA license and real estate accounting experience preferred; AppFolio experience preferred.
