📋 Description

• Own the Close: Lead US accounting ops and GAAP reporting.
• Build for Scale: Redesign accounting ops for IPO readiness and scale.
• Strengthen the Control Environment: Design and maintain internal controls for SEC reporting.
• Lead and Develop the Team: Manage and mentor accountants; stay hands-on as needed.
• Champion an Automation Mindset: Identify AI/automation opportunities to uplift accounting work.
• Serve as a Key Financial Liaison: Coordinate with auditors, regulators, and investors on financials.

🎯 Requirements

• Fintech or consumer credit accounting background.
• 10+ years in accounting/finance with leadership experience.
• NetSuite power user.
• Operator at heart: rebuilt or stood up accounting operations.
• Curious about automation.
• SQL familiarity is a plus.
