Controller, Real Estate Fund Accounting

📋 Description

• Full-cycle accounting for funds; prep/analyze financial statements and ledgers.
• Close processes: GL close, eliminations, accruals, invoices, month-end.
• Prepare/review fund, co-investment statements; meet investor requirements.
• Review fund-level lender reporting and covenant calculations.
• Analyze fund operations; apply distributions for incentives and returns.
• Prepare contribution, distribution, and waterfall calculations.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's in Accounting/Finance or related field.
• 7-10 years of related experience.
• Knowledge of real estate fund structures, PE fees, NAV valuation.
• Prior fund accounting with Yardi; full-cycle accounting.
• CPA preferred; MBA/CFA a plus.
• Excel (PivotTables, VLOOKUP, SUMIF).
