Controls Specialist

📋 Description

• Designing and implementing controls. Working with the Regulatory Compliance team to understand the
• Control assessment and reporting. Updating the safeguarding and SOC1 controls assessments on a
• Direct control management. Managing key controls within our Internal Operations teams
• Understanding existing processes and re-designing controls to meet current and future business needs
• Working with the Regulatory team to ensure audits are completed successfully, including explaining
• Improving efficiency through the standardisation, automation or removal of controls

🎯 Requirements

• Have worked in a regulated environment, preferably financial services or at a FinTech
• Previous experience working in a similar role, such as Audit, you're skilled in designing
• You're a great communicator. You can simplify and clearly explain the what and why behind the
• You understand how to balance compliance and operational efficiency
• You have a solid understanding of the three lines of defence and have experience working with
• You have great attention to detail, you work in a structured manner and you're comfortable with data
