Controls Technician (Provo)

📋 Description

• Work with automation engineers to create and implement programs and processes to optimize equipment
• Manage and perform equipment calibration, repairs, preventive maintenance, and testing
• Perform basic programming and installation of new and existing software required for equipment
• Work within the SCADA system, look for opportunities for continuous improvement
• Work with machine HMIs to improve/troubleshoot processes

🎯 Requirements

• Significant experience as a controls technician/engineer
• Experience with setting up / troubleshooting pneumatic systems
• Basic understanding of PLC troubleshooting and programming
• Understanding of basic safety protocols, including proper use of PPE and Lockout/Tagout procedures
• Ability to lift 50+ pounds, work within a confined space, climb ladders, and perform other physical
• Ability to work occasional overtime/weekends as needed to support production goals and equipment
