Corporate Accounting Manager

📋 Description

• Own day-to-day execution of general ledger journal entries, account reconciliations, and monthly
• Own recurring close areas, including accruals, prepaids, fixed assets, and equity compensation
• Lead month-end and year-end close, setting the calendar and holding cross-functional partners
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements and flux analysis
• Identify and automate manual, error-prone steps in the close process
• Partner with cross-functional teams and external auditors to maintain tight internal controls

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in corporate accounting, GL, and
• Deep knowledge of US GAAP across core corporate accounting areas (accruals, prepaids, fixed assets
• Hands-on experience with account reconciliations and monthly financial statements
• Experience owning the close calendar directly
• Public company or audit-ready private company experience with audit exposure
• Builder mentality with bias toward execution
