📋 Description

• FCC & state PUC rules for UCaaS/CCaaS; filings and interconnection.
• STIR/SHAKEN, CLI masking, and Caller ID obligations; remediation planning.
• Monitor FCC rulemakings and telecom developments; guide Eng/Prod/Ops.
• Manage regulatory filings and reporting with federal/state/international agencies.
• Advise on carrier interconnection agreements; regulatory obligations.
• Review AI features for consent and disclosures; monitor AI transparency laws.

🎯 Requirements

• 4-8 years of legal experience in telecom regulatory matters; in-house preferred.
• Familiarity with FCC rules, the Communications Act, for VoIP/cloud providers.
• Practical experience advising on call recording consent (CIPA, ECPA, two-party).
• Working knowledge of TCPA and FTSA; identify platform-level exposure.
• Familiarity with AI governance frameworks and state AI legislation.
• Ability to synthesize complex legal analysis into clear guidance for non-legal teams.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
• In-house SaaS or regulatory agency experience preferred.
