Cost Accountant

📋 Description

• Own product costing and inventory accounting across hardware programs
• Partner with Supply Chain, Operations, and FP&A to maintain BOMs and margins
• Build scalable accounting processes for new product intro, prototypes, and production
• Own inventory accounting policies covering capitalization, overhead allocation, LCNRV, freight
• Improve cost accounting systems, reporting, and cross-functional workflows
• Support internal and external audits related to cost and inventory accounting

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 5+ years of cost, inventory, or manufacturing accounting
• Strong knowledge of standard costing, inventory valuation, variances, overhead
• Experience in automotive, robotics, or hardware manufacturing
• Proficiency with NetSuite and Excel
• Strong analytical and data aggregation skills with attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration across departments
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
