Cost Accounting Analyst

📋 Description

• Support day-to-day activities related to standard costing, inventory accounting, and manufacturing
• Assist with the month-end close process for inventory, manufacturing expenses, cost of goods sold
• Prepare recurring cost reports and supporting schedules on a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis.
• Analyze actual manufacturing costs and variances against budget, forecast, and standard cost.
• Assist with researching and explaining purchase price, labor, overhead, material usage, and other

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Zero to two years of experience in accounting, finance, cost accounting, manufacturing finance, or
• Foundational understanding of accounting principles, financial statements, general ledger activity
• Basic understanding of inventory accounting, manufacturing costs, or standard costing concepts.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, PivotTables, lookups, data organization, and
