Cost Report Analyst Senior

📋 Description

• Independently manage Medicare, Medicaid, and TriCare cost reporting responsibilities, ensuring
• Prepare and coordinate annual data requests and supporting documentation required for cost
• Lead the annual cost report peer-review process, coordinating participants, reviewing information
• Coordinate and facilitate Medicare Administrative Contractor (MAC) audits and desk reviews
• Respond to MAC data requests and act as a key liaison between external reviewers and internal
• Coordinate Medicaid cost reports, Disproportionate Share audits, and annual Medical Education

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business administration, or a related field.
• 3–7 years of applicable Medicare reimbursement experience, ideally gained within a Medicare
• 2–7 years of experience using Microsoft Office and financial systems or related software
• Strong understanding of healthcare reimbursement processes, Medicare cost reporting, and related
• Demonstrated ability to independently manage detailed financial and regulatory assignments from
• Strong analytical, organizational, and documentation skills, with exceptional attention to accuracy
