Negotiate and manage high volumes of pre-M&A contracts including NDAs, confidentiality
Serve as primary day-to-day contact for clients, building trusted advisor relationships with
Maintain and update client playbooks to ensure consistency and quality across contract negotiations
Collaborate with and mentor junior lawyers and paralegals, reviewing their work
Contribute to continuous improvement of Carta's legal technology suite using AI-backed tools

🎯 Requirements

6-8+ years of post law school corporate or transactional experience
Licensed to practice law in the Americas (US/Canada)
Experience working with asset managers, investment banks, or financial services firms
Commercially minded with strong client communication skills
Tech-savvy with interest in legal tech or AI tools
Self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment
