Counsel, EPC

📋 Description

• Partner with construction and procurement teams and oversee outside counsel in drafting, reviewing
• Provide legal advice to construction and procurement teams to ensure regulatory compliance and
• Support the Deputy General Counsel in negotiating, drafting and closing other project level
• Manage post-execution compliance, including achievement of contractual milestones, internal and
• Support other legal matters and questions presented to the legal team, such as reviewing and
• Interface with the executive leadership team and investment committee for contract approvals based

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years professional experience in the energy industry
• Experience negotiating and managing procurement and EPC agreements for renewable energy projects
• Problem-solver with a pragmatic approach to satisfactorily address legal issues in relation to
• Ability to focus, direct and manage the efforts of external legal counsel and other resources
• Interest in being a part of a small legal team with frequent touch points with Deputy General
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on succinctness and clarity
