📋 Description

• Provide expert OFAC and BIS sanction/export control guidance
• Manage sanctions/export control documentation, policies, trainings, dashboards
• Oversee restricted party screening and due diligence
• Advise on sanctions/export terms in AI services and procurement contracts
• Coordinate with U.S. government agencies on export/sanctions matters
• Investigate potential non-compliance and prepare internal reports
• Collaborate cross-functionally to analyze legal risk and advise leadership

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• 5+ years of trade compliance experience (sanctions and export controls)
• In-house counsel or top-tier law firm experience
• Experience advising on AI, ML, advanced computing, semiconductors under U.S. export control regimes
• Proven ability to design scalable compliance processes leveraging technology and AI
• Ability to adapt to rapid developments and novel legal issues
