📋 Description

• Provide expert advice on export-controlled commodities, software, technical data, and defense
• Drive continuous growth and improvement of SpaceX's export compliance program, including drafting
• Partner with engineering teams on jurisdiction and classification determinations for hardware
• Support engagement with Departments of State and Commerce on regulatory interpretations and
• Prepare and manage export and sanctions licenses, license exceptions, and exemptions
• Lead investigations into non-compliance with trade regulations, including reports and corrective

🎯 Requirements

• JD from an ABA-accredited law school
• 3+ years of experience in corporate legal or law firm advising on U.S. federal regulatory matters
• Admitted to the bar, in good standing, in at least one U.S. State
• Based in Hawthorne, CA, onsite required; remote work not considered
• Extended hours and weekends available as needed
