Counsel, Labor Employment and Benefits

📋 Description

• Provide day-to-day legal counsel on labor and employment matters throughout the employment
• Advise business leaders and Human Resources teams on employment law issues across functions and
• Provide legal support to Total Rewards teams and benefits governance groups on global benefits
• Advise on employee leave, accommodation, and related workplace matters.
• Develop strategies for employment disputes and negotiate appropriate resolutions.
• Assess legal risks associated with discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wage and hour matters

🎯 Requirements

• Hold a Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited institution.
• Be an active member in good standing of at least one state bar.
• Bring 4–6 years of relevant legal experience gained at a large law firm, as in-house counsel, or in
• Demonstrate substantial experience advising proactively on labor, employment, and benefits matters.
• Have experience handling contested employment law matters, including EEOC proceedings and
