📋 Description

• Hands-on litigation and counseling across consumer, regulatory, and competition matters.
• Lead discovery, motions, witness prep, settlements, and trial strategy.
• Advise internal teams on litigation and regulatory matters; apply laws to Lyft products.
• Provide strategic regulatory guidance to cross-functional teams.
• Advise Compliance, Public Policy, Communications, Product, Marketplace, and Urban Solutions on legal challenges.
• Manage outside counsel, including staffing, case management, and budgeting.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from a top law school; active state bar.
• 5+ years civil litigation at mid-to-large firm or regulatory agency; in-house preferred.
• Experience with regulatory disputes, government investigations, and competition matters.
• Executive presence; ability to communicate legal risks to senior leaders.
• Autonomous, detail-oriented with big-picture thinking.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
