Counsel, Regulatory Litigation

📋 Description

• Hands-on handling of litigation, regulatory disputes, and related matters.
• Lead discovery, motions, witness prep, settlements, and trial strategy.
• Advise internal partners on litigation and regulatory issues for Lyft products.
• Provide strategic recommendations to cross-functional teams.
• Guide Compliance, Public Policy, Communications, and Product teams on legal challenges.
• Manage outside counsel including staffing, budgeting, and strategy.

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from a top-tier law school; active state bar.
• 5+ years civil litigation at mid/large firms or regulatory agencies; in-house preferred.
• Experience with regulatory disputes, government investigations, and consumer actions.
• Excellent problem-solving, judgment, and communication.
• Autonomous, team player with high ethics.
• Executive presence; ability to communicate risk to senior leaders.
