Counsel, Regulatory Litigation

📋 Description

• Lead hands-on litigation work across consumer, regulatory disputes, government investigations, and
• Provide strategic, proactive legal advice to internal partners on litigation and regulatory matters
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to craft solutions addressing novel legal challenges and
• Manage outside counsel, including guidance, staffing, budgeting, and alignment with Lyft’s legal

🎯 Requirements

• J.D. from a top-tier law school and active state bar membership.
• 5+ years civil litigation experience at a mid-to-large firm or regulatory agency; prior in-house
• Experience with regulatory disputes, government investigations, competition matters, and
• Strong problem-solving, strategic thinking, judgment, and communication skills; ability to operate
• Executive presence with ability to communicate legal risks to senior leaders; ability to manage
• Understanding of multi-modal transportation and ridesharing industries and the sharing economy.
