Country Head of Credit Risk

📋 Description

• Lead and optimise the France credit portfolio and underwriting processes
• Oversee all stages of the credit lifecycle from origination to recovery
• Collaborate with regulators and legal teams to ensure compliance and smooth client experience
• Present and defend credit analyses at Credit Committee meetings with senior management
• Monitor portfolio performance (exposure, delinquencies, pipeline) and report to Global Credit Risk
• Drive improvements in underwriting and expansion into new jurisdictions

🎯 Requirements

• Minimum 7+ years credit underwriting experience, preferably SME in France
• Strong understanding of local accounting principles
• Experience with collections and local litigation processes
• Clear, concise communication to explain complex concepts
• Experience dealing directly with clients and resolving issues
• Experience building, leading and training Credit Risk teams and frameworks
