Credit Card Counsel

📋 Description

• Serve as embedded legal partner to engineering, product, and design teams building spend management
• Provide pragmatic, actionable advice on requirements and best practices for existing and new spend
• Advise on regulatory and commercial implications of product architecture, data flows, automation
• Advise on critical credit, lending, and card network regulatory questions with cross-functional
• Advise on software, data privacy, and product regulatory questions; advise on product and marketing
• Draft and maintain customer agreements, terms, disclosures, and feature-level terms for spend

🎯 Requirements

• 4+ years experience in law firms and technology/fintech, advising on credit card and regulated
• Familiarity with TILA/Regulation Z, ECOA/Regulation B, UDAP/UDAAP, and card network rules (Visa
• Excellent written and verbal communication for internal and external materials
• Ownership mentality and ability to handle complex matters with sound judgment
• Entrepreneurial mindset in a fast-paced environment
• Law degree and admitted to practice in at least one jurisdiction
