Credit Risk Analyst

📋 Description

• Support, and report to, the Regional Head of Credit Risk.
• Undertake ad hoc requests from the Head of Credit Risk and SVP of Credit Risk.
• Perform detailed credit analysis of prospects and clients for trade finance and currency trading.
• Present and defend your analysis at credit committee meetings to senior management.
• Engage closely with other teams to ensure a smooth client experience and clear decisions.
• Manage an existing portfolio of clients, monitoring credit standing and risk-reward.

🎯 Requirements

• University degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, Mathematics or similar.
• Fluency in German and English.
• Ability to read German management accounts (BWA, SuSa).
• Experience in SME credit underwriting, financial analysis, or understanding of an entity's creditworthiness.
• Analytical mind and strong problem-solving skills.
• Clear, concise communication style, with the ability to explain complex concepts coherently.
