Credit Specialist

📋 Description

• Credit decisioning: evaluate creditworthiness for new and existing customers.
• Policy enforcement: apply credit/collection policies daily.
• Account reconciliation: resolve unapplied cash, short payments, memos.
• Workflow and task management: manage queues and escalate cases as needed.
• Relationship management: coordinate with Sales to onboard key accounts.
• Compliance: ensure activities align with regulations and SOX requirements.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-3 years of credit, collections, or AR experience in manufacturing or B2B tech.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Admin (or equivalent).
• Experience reviewing financial statements and using credit reports (e.g., DUNS).
• CRM/ERP experience; Salesforce and Intacct preferred.
• Ability to perform complex reconciliations and resolve billing disputes.
• SOX controls and O2C process familiarity; strong communication and detail orientation.
