Customer Reliability Engineer

📋 Description

• Rapid incident response and root cause analysis end-to-end
• Proactive reliability engineering with product/platform teams
• Build telemetry, detectors, and diagnostic tooling to reduce toil
• Own high-severity incidents and drive postmortems
• Apply AI-assisted diagnostics to improve operations

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in SRE/ops or similar; 2+ years in customer-facing roles
• Strong networking/security: TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/S, TLS, VPN/IPSec
• Routing protocols: BGP, OSPF; firewall concepts
• Observability tools: Wireshark, tcpdump, Kibana/Elasticsearch, Grafana
• Scripting/automation: Bash, Python; shipping tooling
• Incident management, postmortems, and SLO/SLI practices
• Excellent written and verbal communication; cross-functional collaboration
• Comfort owning ambiguous, cross-layer problems; calm under pressure
