Cybersecurity Engineer III

📋 Description

• Senior technical authority for enterprise, mission, and federal cybersecurity programs.
• Deep expertise in security architecture, cyber defense, risk management, and compliance.
• Collaborates with infra, cloud, and apps teams to integrate security controls across environments.
• Lead Oracle DB and RHEL upgrade to 19c/9.7 with continuity.
• Conduct security assessments, vulnerability analyses, and risk evaluations.
• Monitor security events with SIEM; perform threat hunting and IOC analysis.

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Cybersecurity, CS, IS, Eng, or related field, or equivalent.
• 4-7 years in cybersecurity, info security, systems administration, network engineering, or similar.
• Experience with SIEM, EDR, IDS/IPS, PKI, IAM, and vulnerability mgmt.
• Experience supporting RMF, NIST 800-53, NIST CSF or similar standards.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance; existing clearance preferred.
• Preferred: Security+, CySA+, GSEC, Azure SA, AWS Security.
• Experience with cloud security initiatives in Azure or AWS.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
