Data Analyst - Financial Crime

📋 Description

• Design and maintain data models and datasets used for transaction monitoring and risk assessments.
• Own end-to-end FinCrime analytics delivery: requirements, extraction, transformations, deployment.
• Develop and optimise detection logic and monitoring rules for transactions and behavior.
• Perform data quality checks to ensure completeness, accuracy, and auditability of FinCrime datasets.
• Build dashboards and analytical tools in Sigma to support investigations and risk workflows.
• Collaborate with investigators and compliance analysts to identify data gaps and deliver insights.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-4 years experience in Data/Business Analytics in FinCrime, Compliance, Risk or Financial Services.
• Advanced SQL skills: read and write queries across complex datasets.
• Experience with dbt, Google Cloud BigQuery, Sigma, Git.
• Experience building data pipelines, transformations, and analytical datasets.
• Solid understanding of financial crime frameworks.
• Experience with Python is desirable.
