Data Analyst - Fincrime Reporting

📋 Description

• Design and maintain data models and datasets for transaction monitoring and risk scoring.
• Own end-to-end FinCrime analytics: requirements, data extraction, transformation, validation and deployment.
• Develop and optimise detection logic and monitoring rules (transaction monitoring, anomaly detection, behavioural patterns).
• Perform data quality checks and controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and auditability.
• Build dashboards and tools (Looker / Looker Studio) to monitor risk exposure and investigations.
• Support regulatory and internal audits, providing traceability of data, methodologies, and controls.

🎯 Requirements

• 2-5 years experience in Data/Business Analytics – preferably FinCrime, Compliance, Risk, or Financial Services.
• Advanced SQL skills – able to read and write queries across complex datasets.
• Experience with modern data stack tools: dbt, Google Cloud BigQuery, Looker / Looker Studio, Git.
• Experience building data pipelines, transformations, and analytical datasets.
• Solid understanding of financial crime frameworks.
• Experience with Python is desirable.
• Fluency in English (Spanish a plus).
