Data Annotator - Backend Software Engineer

📋 Description

• Navigate unfamiliar software repositories and understand their architecture, structure
• Review existing code and produce technical annotations covering functionality, logic, dependencies
• Analyse code modifications, commits, and pull requests to assess their impact and determine whether
• Identify bugs, logical errors, implementation issues, and potential edge cases in existing
• Evaluate AI-generated code, proposed fixes, and technical solutions for correctness, efficiency
• Assess software engineering workflows across open-source projects and real-world development

🎯 Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience in software engineering or software development.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Java, Python, C++, Go, JavaScript, or
• Practical experience working with open-source software and existing codebases.
• Ability to understand, modify, debug, and extend existing code.
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub workflows, including branching, commits, pull requests, code
• Experience using Jira or similar project and task management tools.
