Data Center Engineer

📋 Description

• Oversee lifecycle of physical servers, network devices, and IT infra.
• Install, configure, and maintain server and network components in data centers.
• Plan rack layouts, cabling, and patching to optimize data center ops.
• Diagnose hardware issues; coordinate repairs/RMAs with vendors.
• Manage shipments and maintain hardware inventory.
• Document infrastructure, cabling, rack configs; willing to work outside hours.

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years hands-on data center engineering.
• Troubleshoot server hardware, network devices, and storage.
• Knowledge of cabling, fiber optics, transceivers, and testing.
• Basic Linux and networking protocols; Bash/Python scripting a plus.
• CCNA certification a plus; data center facilities tools experience.
• Lift up to 60 lbs; valid driver's license for travel between facilities.
