Data Center Engineer

📋 Description

• Design and implement data center infrastructure for performance and growth.
• Build, manage, and maintain infrastructure in global data centers.
• Perform equipment installs: compute, network, storage, racks, cabling.
• Monitor infrastructure to prevent failures and degradation.
• Monitor power usage and availability in each cabinet.
• Coordinate with remote hands in remote data centers and provide direction.

🎯 Requirements

• Strong knowledge of networking, servers, storage, virtualization; data center design.
• 4+ years hands-on data center experience (compute, network, storage, cabling).
• Plan cooling, power, and space; Linux/Unix admin, networking, SAN skills.
• Vendor management: quotes, RMAs, and support.
• BS in CS or equivalent; coding to automate tasks.
• 24x7 production environment experience.
