Data Center Operations System Engineer III (Chicago)

📋 Description

• Rack, label, cable, and configure new server, storage, and network gear.
• Troubleshoot hardware/software on GPU and Networking systems.
• Document data center layout and topology in DCIM.
• Coordinate with supply chain and manufacturing for deployments.
• Manage parts depot inventory across all data centers.
• Work with HW Support to resolve incidents and share solutions.

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with critical DC infrastructure (power, cooling, DCIM)
• Familiar with carrier DIA circuits and fiber testing
• Knowledge of single- and three-phase power
• Strong cabling and cable management expertise
• Server hardware understanding and boot process
• Ability to define and improve maintenance MOPs
